Measure your dog two ways, as the manufacturer suggests:

  • Length: standing, from the tip of the nose to the base of the tail, plus 4 in. Keep the total under the 36.6 in inside length, so dogs up to about 32.6 in long.
  • Height: sitting, from the floor to the top of the head, plus 2 in. Keep the total under the 25.2 in inside height, so dogs up to about 23.2 in tall sitting.
